Re: How often to email list?

Hi, I'm building an email marketing list by sending traffic to a landing page and collecting email addresses. I'm wondering how often I should email my list? I'm currently emailing everyday and not seeing many conversions or engagements for people clicking the link in emails. Any advice is apprecia...

Re: The crucial ingredient to winning sales copy

This is true for content writing as well as sales copy.
I see so many articles where it appears the author forgot who their reader was.

Re: Are there any proven email templates I can use?

Have you tried signing up for email lists from other successful marketers in your niche? Then you can see what they do and perhaps use some of their style as a templates to learn from. But you will still need to build a relationship with your own list because what works for someone else may not work...

Re: What questions do you ask to your clients?

After a client gives me general specifications I ask if they'd like a particular tonality, or should I bring my own unique voice to the conversation? Sometimes a new writing style can attract new readers to a website, but if the client wishes to stay on brand then articles should match the tone alre...

Although technology is progressing at an ever increasing rate, I still don't seen AI written content as a threat to copywriters. Not until someone can program a machine to feel emotional context.

I don't believe it should be a choice between the two. Shouldn't we use both?

Re: Copy for SaaS platform

Some words can be all capital if we want them to stand out, or emphasize a point of interest. Like when we say your SaaS platform is AMAZING, EASY, AND AFFORDABLE! The capital words now have a bit more prominence. Also they can catch the attention of people who skim the page before deciding to read...

Re: What do I need to know to be a good copywriter?

Hi Sergio, The first thing you should do is to decide what type of copywriting you’re interested in. You can pick a single niche to start with – Then decide the purpose of your writing. It could be selling a product, like in direct response marketing, or it could be brand building through content to...

@MikeyWrites

Even though I’m not in your target market, the content itself looks good to me.

Out of curiosity, do you use any tools such as Grammarly, Flesch–Kincaid, or Hemingway app to double check your articles for readability?

Rhonda, I couldn’t help but want to throw up that meme featuring the Dos Equis actor, Jonathon Goldsmith. ☺️ Instead — perhaps we could have one featuring you and your ‘I don’t often get writer’s block’ quote! Well played my new friend…🤣 Debra I don’t often post on social media. But when I do, I le...

Re: How do you write when you're not in the mood?

How do other writers get motivated when the words won’t come? Any suggestions are appreciated. Thank you 🙂 I don’t often get writers block, but when I do it helps if I think about what I want to write, and then take a short break while holding this thought in my mind. I might go outside for a breat...

Re: Is gender based selling still a thing?

Do you sell the same product or service differently, based on the gender of the buyer? And if you do… In what ways is it different? I like to think both genders are equal but I know there are differences. And like you taught me before, if we try to appeal to everyone we end up appealing to no one. ...

Re: Can I write copy for English business even if I'm not native English speaker?

You don’t need to be a native English speaker, but it does require fluency in English if you wish to be taken seriously. If your writing doesn’t flow naturally in whatever language you write, it won’t be easy to convince others that you can write for them in that language. You also need to understan...
