Brand new Copywriter/ content writer

Hi, I'm Russ, from northern British Columbia and have little experience. My objective is to work with companies in the surrounding area to drive sales for them, as well as make a living. I have spent the last couple days making ads and somewhat starting a newsletter for a company that I have as a prospect. So my plan is to make up some fictional brands and pretend i worked for them on their newsletter and ads. Then, show the prospect company what i have done in a presentation and hopefully acquire permissions to run their ads on facebook (the prominent social media here) and google search.
