First attempt at Welcome Email
First attempt at Welcome Email
Hi! This is the first time I wrote a welcome sequence on an imaginary product and it would so much if you could spare some time to review it. Thanks

Re: First attempt at Welcome Email
Hi Srishty, and welcome to the copywriters forum!
I just read your welcome email, and here's my first impression...
I like it. It comes across friendly, welcoming and authentic.
The only review/critique from me is that there's a couple of awkward sentences that could be re-written.
This one (and this might just be me, because I'm old)
- As we were surfing the net to find dig deep-
I don't know if that's the way you meant to word that sentence? But if it is, I'm not sure exactly what "surfing the net to find dig deep" means.
And this sentence could be worded a little better -
And since you decided to sign up for it, you're too a member of the family now
Instead of "signing up", how about "And since you decided to join us" (it's friendlier)
I might be overthinking it? But that was my first impression.
Other than that I think it looks really good for a welcome email.
All the best,
Steve

Hello Steve! Thank you so much for your valuable feedback. I completely agree with you I should've been more thorough about the grammar before finalising the draft. I'll make the changes immediately as you suggested. Thanks a lot again this really means a lot!
