Hello, I am a new to email copywriting and I can use some help from the profesionals.
I have started sending cold emails to a list and getting some open rates but no clickthroughs, not even one.
What could be wrong?
thanks in advance for your help.

Tough to say what's wrong based on your question here. It's a bit vague, and there's a number of things that "could" be wrong.

But I'll try to help you if I can...

For starters, keep in mind, emailing to a cold list is not easy.
There's a lot of hurdles to overcome right from the start.
  • they don't know you yet
  • they don't trust you yet
  • you're interrupting their day with an unsolicited sales pitch
But if you're getting decent open rates then at least your emails aren't going straight to spam folders, and that's a good thing.

My first question would be what kind of message are you sending to this cold email list?

What can you tell us about your list ? (how did you get the email addresses?)
And what can you tell us about your offer? (are you offering something they actually need, or just something you think they should want?)

Maybe you can post your email here and we can see if any obvious mistakes jump out at us.

1) Your email sounds too salesy or spammy

2) They don't like your offer

3) They are not interested in what you're selling

4) The link in your email isn't working

These are a few things that could be wrong. The list goes on from there.
