I don't sell products through Amazon, but I do email marketing, and this article caught my attention...
Aparently, up until now, if you sold products through Amazon you could only email customers who "followed" your brand on the platform.
But thanks to seller feedback, Amazon will soon open up a new email marketing avenue to help you better engage with your customers, and increase the lifetime value of your customer base.
