Headline Analyzers - Generators - Etc.

Post by SARubin »

Here's a couple tools that can give you interesting insights about your headlines. Just keep in mind, these are only tools to help you out. You still need to use the tool between your ears to determine the best headline for any particular offer...

The Advanced Marketing Institute Headline Analyzer has a simple text box where you type (or copy and paste) your headline.
Then it analyzes your headline to determine the Emotional Marketing Value (EMV) based on the number of emotional words it has in relation to the total number of words in the headline. It's a fun little tool. The only downside is the headline can't be any longer than 20 words.

Sharethrough Headline Analyzer is pretty cool if you're into content writing. You just type your headline and click the button.
Then it comes back with an overall score, along with few suggestions how you might make it more click-worthy based on a few different metrics.
A good marketer knows how to think like a marketer - A great marketer learns how to think like the customer...
