Ha ha just ran across an article I wrote back in the Demand Media days, maybe 2012 or so. Demand went on to essentially collapse and transform into Leaf Group. This particular article has made the rounds on various properties.
I believe ItStillRuns is this story’s sixth different home. The article is embarrassingly terrible, but we were under some pretty severe style restrictions there. It did pay about 80 bucks, which wasn’t so bad by Demand standards. LOL. Somewhere near the bottom there is a link that shows references. Lot of research for that kind of money, though.
